There is a legend
That says
It takes a hundred years for an olive tree to start producing olives.
When one Generation plants olive trees, they do so not for themselves,
but for generations to follow.

Trinity Requiem
The Trinity Foundation is working to ensure that music will always be a priority at Trinity. Our Arts Gala, Music for Food benefit concert, Evensong, Lessons & Carols, and annual All Souls’ Requiem are examples of ways Trinity Episcopal Church engages our congregation with the community through music and worship. This was demonstrated most recently in 2018 with the world premiere of Requiem for the New World, an original composition by Trinity to celebrate our 125th anniversary.
ACH Child And Family Services
Protecting Children and Preserving Families since 1915. Through strength-based partnership, ACH Child and Family Services brings resources and skills to children and families struggling with life's challenges. Together, we develop solutions that create safety, hope, love and the capacity to thrive.
Center for Transforming Lives
The Trinity Foundation has generously supported an increase in the Trinity Reaching Out grant budget for 2020 to $58,500, up from last year's $50,000. The increase comes chiefly from the addition of two new ministries: the Center for Transforming Lives in Fort Worth and Catholic Charities Fort Worth . The Center for Transforming Lives, which receives a $5,000 Trinity Reaching Out grant for 2020, is the former YWCA and helps lift women with children from poverty through operation of an onsite shelter, early childhood education, and financial empowerment programming. Catholic Charities, recipient of a $3,000 TRO grant for 2020, is a service-driven organization determined to end poverty. TRO member Gail Smith will be our ministry lead for the Center for Transforming Lives. If you'd like to be lead for our Catholic Charities ministry, please contact TRO Chair Susann Eller by email here.
Catholic Charities Fort Worth
Catholic Charities is adding at least 1,000 people and families in the coming year to the 1,200 it already serves, providing them with resources and connections to other programs, ranging from rent and utility assistance, to help providing clients with SNAP applications, and transportation. Read Fort Worth
Trinity parishioners who had been reading weekly with elementary school students have been on hiatus since right before Spring Break. But under the Reading Partners arm of the Read Fort Worth umbrella literacy initiative, we’ve been invited to tape messages of encouragement that will be sent to our students. Stay tuned! Click here to read more about Read Fort Worth. And please consider being a mentor next year! Only 30 percent of Fort Worth ISD third graders are reading on level.
